Benjamin Wey
The Man Behind "Turtle Tales"
Benjamin Wey is a lifelong resident of Los Angeles, California. He is currently a Graduate student at Pepperdine University, working to earn his Masters In International Affairs. He has been to Belize, Chile, Brazil and Venezuela on numerous occasions, and speaks Spanish and Cantonese Chinese fluently. He eventually hopes to work as a diplomat for the United States in Mexico or for another South American country.
Outside of his professional and academic life, Benjamin Wey has been known to be a turtle enthusiast and an environmentally conscious person. He often takes part in various efforts that support the protection of the environment, and volunteers for environmental and global warming based charities. Furthermore, in response to the need of saving the Green Sea Turtle, Wey plans on financially supporting a tracked turtle through The Sea Turtle Restoration Project, as soon as he can save up the $5000 fee.
